nobuko is a multidisciplinary creative agency that celebrates the art of brand storytelling. Since 2018, we’ve partnered with small businesses and startups across diverse industries to create distinctive brands elevated by thoughtful strategy and beautifully rendered design.
At the helm of nobuko is founder Dacy Knight, previously a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle editor for Who What Wear, Byrdie, and MyDomaine. Dacy’s editorial expertise and eye for detail seamlessly transitioned into the brand-building space, where she combines over a decade of experience in digital publishing, fashion casting, and luxury retail in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Milan to shape dynamic brands that captivate and connect.
Dacy holds a BA in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania, with minors in Political Science and French, and an MA in Global Communications from the American University of Paris, specializing in fashion journalism, PR, and marketing. Her global perspective and creative expertise are at the heart of nobuko’s mission to deliver impactful, one-of-a-kind branding solutions.

When I started nobuko, I envisioned more than just a branding studio — I wanted to create a space where artistry, strategy, and intentionality converge to build brands that not only stand out but also stand the test of time. Branding is more than just a logo or a website; it’s the feeling people get when they interact with your business, the story that unfolds with every touchpoint, and the trust that is built through thoughtful design and consistency.
